Black Horse Collision (BHC)
Last Updated: September 9, 2026
Welcome to Black Horse Collision (BHC). By accessing or using our website, requesting an estimate, authorizing repairs, leaving a vehicle at our facility, or communicating with our team, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
Black Horse Collision provides professional collision and auto body services, including collision repair, body and structural repair, frame straightening, paint refinishing, paintless dent repair (PDR), aluminum repair, carbon fiber and composite repair, glass services, airbag and safety-system repair, ADAS calibration, and related automotive services.
All services are subject to vehicle condition, parts availability, insurance approvals, manufacturer repair procedures, and production capacity.
2. Estimates & Pricing
All estimates are based on visible damage and information available at the time of inspection. Collision damage may include hidden or additional damage that cannot be identified until the vehicle is disassembled.
If additional repairs, parts, labor, procedures, or materials are required, a supplemental estimate may be prepared. Final repair costs may therefore differ from the initial estimate.
When an insurance company is involved, supplements may be submitted to the insurer for review and approval. The customer remains responsible for charges not covered or approved by the insurance company.
3. Parts & Materials
Black Horse Collision may use OEM, OEM-equivalent, recycled, reconditioned, or aftermarket parts depending on customer authorization, insurance guidelines, repair requirements, manufacturer procedures, and availability. We prioritize safe and proper repairs and may recommend OEM parts or specific repair procedures when appropriate for the vehicle.
Any specific parts request should be communicated and approved before repairs begin.
4. Repair Scheduling & Completion Times
Any estimated start or completion date is approximate and is not guaranteed.
Repair timelines may be affected by parts availability, backordered components, insurance inspections or approvals, supplemental estimates, hidden damage, manufacturer procedures, sublet services, calibration requirements, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of Black Horse Collision. We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant changes affecting their repair.
5. Repair Authorization
By authorizing repairs, the customer grants Black Horse Collision permission to perform the approved work and any necessary diagnostic, disassembly, scanning, testing, or related procedures associated with evaluating and repairing the vehicle.
Additional repairs outside the authorized scope may require customer and/or insurance approval before proceeding.
6. Payments
Payment is due upon completion of repairs unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Customers are responsible for deductibles, customer-pay repairs, non-covered charges, betterment, depreciation, and any other amounts not paid by their insurance company.
Vehicles will not be released until all amounts due to Black Horse Collision have been paid or acceptable payment arrangements have been approved.
7. Insurance Claims
Black Horse Collision may assist customers with the insurance claim and repair process; however, we are an independent repair facility and do not control insurance-company decisions, coverage determinations, claim payments, approvals, or processing times.
The vehicle owner remains responsible for understanding their insurance policy, deductible, coverage, and any charges the insurer declines to pay.
Insurance estimates may differ from the procedures, parts, labor, and materials Black Horse Collision determines are necessary for a safe and proper repair.
8. Vehicle Condition & Personal Property
Black Horse Collision is not responsible for pre-existing damage, unrelated mechanical or electrical failures, normal wear and tear, or conditions unrelated to the repairs performed.
Customers should remove cash, electronics, documents, valuables, and other personal belongings before leaving a vehicle at our facility. Black Horse Collision is not responsible for personal property left inside a vehicle except as otherwise required by applicable law.
9. Diagnostic Scans, Testing & ADAS Calibration
Modern collision repairs may require pre-repair and post-repair diagnostic scans, road testing, wheel alignment, programming, measurements, or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration.
By authorizing repairs, the customer authorizes Black Horse Collision and, when necessary, qualified third-party providers to perform procedures reasonably required to verify vehicle systems and repair quality.
10. Warranty
Black Horse Collision provides a limited warranty on qualifying workmanship performed by our facility.
Warranty coverage does not apply to normal wear and tear, subsequent accidents or damage, misuse, neglect, environmental damage, corrosion, pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, unrelated mechanical or electrical failures, or unauthorized modifications or repairs performed by another party.
Parts may also be subject to separate manufacturer or supplier warranties.
11. Vehicle Pickup & Storage
Customers will be notified when their vehicle is ready for delivery. Vehicles should be picked up promptly after completion.
Storage charges may apply when a completed vehicle is not picked up within the timeframe communicated to the customer or when a vehicle remains at our facility after repairs have been declined, canceled, or otherwise discontinued, subject to applicable law and any written repair authorization.
